Biomechanics Analysis of Rowing for Injury Prevention

  • Analysis of joint reaction and muscle force distributions to prevent upper extremity injuries from in rowing

  • Generated static equilibrium equations and produced graphs in MATLAB to visualize how muscle and joint reaction forces varied throughout different parts of a rower's stroke

Model Effectiveness of Mask Mandate in Spread of Infectious Illness

  • Developed an application to project the spread of infectious disease using the SIR Model based on statistics and implemented mandates

  • Demonstrates effectiveness of the mask mandate during the Coronavirus outbreak

Rehabilitation Device Design for Hemiparetic Post-Stroke Patients

  • Designed a rehabilitation walker in CAD to improve motor function of hemiparetic post-stroke patients that increases long term autonomy

  • Design is projected to cost 77x less than current rehabilitation expenses and theoretically improve motor skills back to 100%
